I think your calculation for the slot length is a little wrong (13mm +17mm). I think it should be (13 +(bush diameter-bit diameter)).

Thank you. You are right if you are able to glue everything together with absolute precision. I left some room and then added screws for the adjustment so you don’t have to be super precise in the glue up.
