After using the Anet A8 for quite some time as the only 3d printer I upgraded in 2018 on the CR 10s.
The CR10s is a nice machine that comes with a few advantages over the Anet A8:
- It comes pre-assembled and is ready to use without 1 day of Ikea-esk building
- It seems to be safer when it comes to the electrical setup – so it’s less likely to burn down the house with that printer
- It’s more accurate and comes e.g., with an auto bed leveling feature
- For larger prints it’s nice that if comes with a sensor and pauses your print when it’s running out of filament
